Currently active development received new innovative system of remote banking services of clients including internet-banking, mobile banking and SMS-banking.
Thus, the number of users of remote customer service has increased from 24,500 at the beginning of 2011 year to 534,800 as of 1 January 2015, so the figure for the last 5 years has increased 21.8 times.
There is activation of the electronic payment system. Thus, the number of transactions conducted via the interbank payment system of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has increased from 35.5 million in 2010 to 60 million in 2014; an increase of this index over the past five years was 1.7 times.
According to results of the events elaborated recommendations for the further development of electronic payments and wide introduction of online services in the banking sector, further expansion of the use of bank plastic cards and systems for remote services of bank clients.
